Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
GameReps LLC ("GameReps," "we," "us") builds interactive football training games for youth athletes. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights parents and guardians have under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
What We Collect
- First name and last name — provided by the coach when adding a player to a team roster. Used for display in the game and cross-season player matching.
- Play decisions and timing — which reads the player picks, how fast they decide, and whether their choice was correct. This is behavioral game data, not personal information.
- Device type — derived from the browser's user-agent string (mobile, tablet, or desktop). Used for analytics only, not as a persistent identifier.
What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, photos, videos, audio, geolocation, advertising IDs, or any other personal identifiers from children. We do not use cookies. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not display advertising.
How We Use Data
- Player progression — tracking which football concepts a player understands and adapting game difficulty to their skill level.
- Coaching insights — showing coaches which concepts their team has mastered and which need more practice.
- Product improvement — understanding how kids learn football concepts to make the game better.
Who Can Access Data
- Coaches can see their own team's player names, progression levels, and performance data through a private dashboard URL.
- No third parties receive any player data. We do not sell, share, or license data to anyone.
Parental Consent
The first time a player's link is opened, a parental consent screen is displayed before the game loads. A parent or guardian must check the consent box and tap "Start Playing" before any data is collected. The game does not load and no data is recorded until consent is given.
Parental Rights
As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:
- Review your child's data by contacting your child's coach, who can access the team dashboard.
- Delete your child's data by requesting it through the coach or by contacting us directly. Deletion permanently removes all identifying information (name) while retaining anonymous behavioral data for product improvement.
- Refuse further data collection by not consenting on the consent screen, or by requesting deletion after consent has been given.
Data Retention
- Active players — all data retained while the player is on an active roster.
- Removed players — names retained for up to 1 year after removal (for cross-season team transfers). Player link stops working.
- Anonymized players — after 1 year of inactivity or on parent request, all identifying information (first name, last name, display name) is permanently deleted. Anonymous behavioral data is retained for product improvement.
Data Security
Player data is stored in a secure, encrypted database hosted by Supabase (AWS infrastructure, US East region). Access is controlled through Row Level Security policies. Player URLs use token-based identification — no passwords or login credentials are required or stored.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if our data practices change. Material changes will be communicated to coaches who have active teams.
