The player sees a real game situation. Reads the field. Makes a choice. Gets immediate coaching feedback explaining what happened and why. Every play is a rep. Every rep teaches.
Here is one play in Flag Football QB Mode, step by step.
Player sees the defensive formation. Reads alignment and cushion for coverage clues. Two safeties high? Probably Cover 2. Single high safety? Cover 1 or Cover 3.
Running back moves across the formation. Player watches: does the defender follow (man) or stay put (zone)? This is the diagnostic. One motion read confirms or breaks the pre-snap hypothesis.
Routes execute. Clock ticks. Player reads the progression and chooses a target. First read, second read, checkdown. The right throw depends on the coverage they diagnosed.
The game shows what happened and explains why. "The flat defender followed the RB, which means man coverage. The slant was open because the inside defender had to respect the motion."
This is one play in one mode. Every sport and position follows the same pattern: real situation, real decision, real feedback.
Five tiers. Rookie through Elite. Each tier controls clock speed, defensive complexity, visual aids, and how aggressively the AI punishes mistakes.
At Rookie, the game shows coverage labels and highlights open receivers. By Elite, the defense disguises coverage, runs delayed blitzes, and adapts to the player's tendencies.
Players promote on touchdowns and demote on repeated bad outcomes. The game always meets the player where they are.
Flag Football QB Mode is live. It proves the model works: kids play voluntarily, and they learn real football.
The engine behind it is sport-agnostic. CONFIG defines the sport, field, plays, and rules. ENGINE runs the simulation. RENDERER draws it. Swap the config, and the same engine teaches soccer, basketball, or any sport with a playbook.
